Big Wade's Bail Bonds opened for business in August of 2001. Big Wade, age 38, a lifelong resident of the Talladega Community, attended the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa and is a current Certified Bail Bondsmen in the state of Alabama, through the Alabama Department of Insurance, and examination through Troy University. His oldest son Scott who has been a certified bondsman since 2005, joined the Army in 2006, and is stationed in Korea as a Patriot Missile Operator:
